Sunday arvo at Serendip Sanctuary in Lara. What a delightful way to spend an afternoon. Serendip got its name from the word "serendipity", which means "the unexpected discovery of something wonderful".
Entry is free, there is plenty of birds and wildlife to keep you occupied, even educational stuff for the kids.

~ RSPCA Million Paws Walk
The 2009 RSPCA Million Paws Walk was held today around the country. Geelong dogs got to take their owners and friends along to the Eastern Gardens for their day out. And out they came, in their droves. Half Cat was even there to start them off. There were little dogs, big dogs, hairy dogs, bald dogs, some did tricks, and there were even some lazy dogs, but they were all on their best behaviour...not an angry dog amongst them. The RSPCA even bought along some other animals too...
